Palencia is a small city, but with a lot to be seen. Its Cathedral, whose name is given by the saint of the city, San Antolín, is gothic. One of the best things about this city is its long and wonderful Calle Mayor, full of arcades, by which you can walk around even with the worst of storms. But what stands out the most in Palencia, above the rest of cities in Castilla y León and Spain, is its Cristo del Otero. According to many Palencia inhabitants, this architectural work of art, created by Victorio Macho in the 30s, measures up Christ of Rio de Janeiro. What do you think?
